Surb Khach Armenian Church (Donetsk region, city of Makeyevka)

The construction of the Armenian church in Makeyev began in 1997. In 1998 the church was finally built and anointed on the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Cross, by Bishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Ukraine Nathan Hovhannisyan. In 2017,  on the territory of the church there was built mataghatun. Adjacent to the church, there is an armenian Sunday school where on Sunday students can study the Armenian language, Armenian history and literature, also learn the traditions and culture of their nation.
