Construction of the Church was completed in October 1875. From 2008 sustainable divine service of the year was restored.

The first Armenian Church in the city of Odessa was erected in 1844 the funds of Armenian Community of Odessa and located at the intersection of Bazarnaya and Ekaterininskaya streets.

The foundation of the church was laid on September 29, 2008. Four years later, on November 10, 2012, the church was  sanctified  and  opened.
