Father Nerses Shakhnazaryan

He was born n May 24, 1981 in the city of Yerevan. In 1997-2003 he was a student of Gevorkian Theological Seminary of Etchmiadzin. On December 26, 2002 he was ordained a deacon, On 10 October, 2004 he was ordained to the priests. Since 2006 he has been carrying divine service in Ukraine.  Prior to this he went on to serve the spiritual needs of the faithful as a member of the Army Chaplaincy program for the Republic of Armenia Armed Forces for about 2 years. From 2006 to 2008 he served in St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in the city of Odessa. Since 2008 he has been the priest in Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (the city of Chernovtsy). Furthermore, he celebrates the divine service in the St. Stephen’s Chapel (Armenian Church of St Nicholas in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi) and Armenian Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator (the city of Berezhany in Ternopol region).
